CATSUP VS. KETCHUP
Much of what we've read or stories we've come across is that somewhere around the 17th century the sauce we've come to know as ketchup evolved from a simple pickled fish sauce. Yes, the early versions for catsup did have fish in the sauce. Over the centuries the sauce concoction would take on different methods of preparation. Eventually English explores would start adding tomatoes to the process and eventually it would become the sauce we commonly refer to as catsup, now known as ketchup!
